Summer Camp at the farm started in 2020 at the height of Covid. With Justin's passion for farming, and Anna's passion for animals and children, it was a no brainer. The future of farming is only guaranteed by teaching the younger generations all we know. We begin each day by meeting at the playground, playing for a few minutes until the whole group is gathered. We then move onto taking care of the animals. We will get to bathe and brush all of our 7 horses and ponies. We will also pick their hooves, learn about each animal and their daily quirks. They will get the chance to create bonds will all of the animals. Children will get to interact with pigs, goats, chickens ducks and rabbits. We will collect eggs daily, and have chicks hatching from our incubator. Children will get to experience the real life "farm-to-table" from growing, transplanting, and picking fresh vegetables in a private area just for campers. To end the day we will play games , have water fun and do nature based crafts. Examples include making flower bouquets, survival, bird feeders, and so much more. On hot days we will have a sprinkler over the playground, so a bathing suit is recommended. The playground is closed while camp is in session, and reopens at 12.
